ASSOCIATE SPORTS PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER - BODYARMOR SPORTS DRINK (Queens, NY)

Assist with strategy, development and execution of sports partnerships and marketing plans across a sector of sports including (but not limited to) professional athletes and partnerships in basketball, football, baseball, and more.  The Associate Sports Partnerships Manager will assist with the management of ongoing alliances and relationships, activating athlete partners and sports properties across BODYARMOR marketing mix.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of Team BODYARMOR athlete partners and sports properties to activate brand experiences that drive BODYARMOR awareness and consumer purchase
  • Work closely with the brand team to assist with the development and execution of creative programs that generate compelling activation plans to drive consumer, retailer and distributor excitement
  • Grow and maintain partner relationships
  • Track contractual obligations and documentation; assist with the management and allocation of partnership assets across regional teams
  • Develop relationships with athlete and fitness social influencers, driving brand awareness
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional sales and marketing departments so athlete services meet BODYARMOR brand/organization needs
  • Assist with the management of marquee sporting events with strong activation and PR
  • Assist field development organization with in-store promotions, point-of-sale and sports-themed marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Proven Sports Relationship Building skills
  • 3+ years sports marketing experience
  • Business Development & Project Management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Judgement & Strategic Perspective
  • Outstanding attention to detail and proactive follow-through
  • Excellent oral and written communication tools
  • High energy self-starter
  • Ability to travel (Up to 40%)
