Live Nation U.S. Concerts Division which owns and operates over 40 concert venues across the United States is establishing its first National Sales Center.  Located in New York, this Sales Center follows a similar trend of National Sales Centers in professional sports and collegiate athletics.   Our team of ticket sellers will be working across all 40+ venues to increase Live Nation U.S. Concert ticket sales.

The Director of the National Sales Center will lead the development and launch of this newly established sales department reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Premium Seat Sales based in New York City.  In this role the Director will lead an Account Executive team responsible for generation of new business development including new full season, partial season and group ticket packages for 40+ owned and operated amphitheaters in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, in-depth train, develop and motivate Account Executive team
  • Coordinate extensive outbound call campaigns to qualified individuals, corporations and organizations to drive ticket sales
  • Create weekly and monthly sales contests to create an energetic sales culture of teamwork within the department
  • Manage all database information listings acquired through various entities
  • Implement strategies to effectively track individual and department sales efforts
  • Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents and venue Director of Sales to leverage sales development through marketing, education and on site venue visits while creating a seamless fan experience
  • Assist in closing business with Account Executives when needed
  • Ensures that sales team members are meeting all of their goals and objectives
  • Schedule sales staff to ensure maximum productivity
  • Travel as needed for sales training, national meetings and in-market client meetings with local sales team as needed
  • All other duties as assigned by Senior Vice President of Premium Seat Sales

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing a related field or equivalent job experience in a related field.  MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years professional or collegiate sports sales experience
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in building outbound telephone sales teams
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated success in building, motivating, and leading teams.
  • Strong ability to work with others in a collaborative, respectful manner.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster, Archtics and Salesforce.com required
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
